A NEW PHILOSOPHY

The arrival of a younger generation of winegrowers (including Jo Landron), in the late 1970s, breathed new life into the family wine holding, which was expanded with new plots.
A new awareness of the diversity of subsoils at Domaines Landron then led to a new terroir-specific focus. From here on, the must from different plots was fermented separately and the estate began actively pursuing different styles of wines.

Our approach to viticulture is the result of this ongoing philosophical journey.

A NEW AWARENESS

It was in 1982 that we ultimately began to realise the potential of our terroirs, when we decided to ferment each plot of the estate separately. Our Muscadets, as a result, showed to have different ageing abilities, individual complexity and unique mineral identities according to the aspect, geological characteristics and yield profile of each plot.
